David Brieger is an interventional Cardiologist and Head Cardiology at Concord Hospital. He is Professor of Cardiology at the University of Sydney.  

He has long promoted the development and expansion of clinical quality registries in Australia and using insights from observational data to understand and improve quality of care.  He has particular clinical interest in the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease and currently cochairs the Expert Steering Group updating the Australian ACS guideline for diagnosis and management of Acute Coronary Syndromes.
